Urusei Yatsura Episode 9 Preview Of The Story
“Transfer Student Close Call” and “Farewell Party Close Call” were two of the episodes from Urusei Yatsura episode 8. The episode was considerably more lighthearted and concentrated on Lum, Ran, and Ataru than the previous ones. Ataru was entirely unprepared when he discovered in Episode 8 that Lum had transferred to his school.
When Lum learned that Ran, a childhood friend, had also transferred, she nonetheless expressed envy. Because Atari seemed to be interested in her, she felt particularly envious. There was also some background information about Lum and Ran’s relationship.
The two got into a discussion about their pasts. Ran eventually admitted during this discussion that she had impersonated a human to seek retribution on Lum. Ran also made a promise in episode 8 to kidnap Ataru from Lum and drain him of his human vitality. The whole episode was spent with Lum attempting to shield Ataru from Ran’s trickery while Ran planned strategies to win him over.
