Trinity Seven is a fantasy anime with a tint of comedy and romance, adapted from the manga Trinity Seven.

It was first serialized in the monthly Shōnen magazine, Monthly Dragon Age, and later published into 28 manga volumes. The anime adaptation, produced by Seven Arcs Pictures, was broadcasted on TV Tokyo from October to December 2014. The series also has two movies covering the main arcs of the story. Trinity Seven Movie 1: Eternity Library to Alchemical Girl,2017 released, and Trinity Seven Movie 2: Heavens Library and Crimson Lord in 2019. Season 1 comprises 12 episodes.

Trinity Seven Overview
The day of Black Sun disrupts the happy everyday life of Arata and his cousin Hijiri as it led to the destruction of the whole town and carried Hijiri away. As Hijiri starts disappearing, she attaches a grimoire around the neck of Arata in hopes it will protect him in her absence. Arata is shattered by the recent events and hopes for a good, normal life as he had again, which leads to the activation of the grimoire. The magical spell of the Grimoire is broken by a mage, Lilith. Arata, back in reality, decides to become a mage to find Hijiri. Arata begins his journey to become a mage at Royal Biblia Academy, where he meets the Trinity Seven.
