The eighth episode of the second season of To Your Eternity, titled Beyond the Dream, will pick up directly where the previous episode left off, with the Church of Bennett using a guillotine to execute Prince Bonchien. As the blade falls, it is expected to kill the prince, leaving Archbishop Cylira victorious after successfully branding Fushi as a heretic and executing the Prince of Uralis Kingdom.
The people of the Uralis kingdom are devastated upon learning of the news. In response, Fushi and others decide to set out once more. The Nokker on Kahaku’s arm also becomes active and begins to reveal its purpose.

In the seventh episode of the second season of To Your Eternity, titled Crime and Forgiveness, Prince Bonchien undergoes a trial by the Church of Bennett. During the trial, he divulges his ability to see spirits, finally leading Todo to understand the prince’s actions.
During the trial, Bonchien discovers another prisoner, Chabo, is also being held with him. Chabo was arrested for stealing bread and believed his mother to be alive. However, Bonchien can see Chabo’s mother’s spirit and learns through her that she has passed away, which is revealed during the trial.
Unfortunately, the trial does not go well for the three prisoners, but Fushi manages to escape his prison and comes to their aid. Despite this, Bonchien chooses to stay for the trial and willingly sacrifices himself to protect his kingdom and Fushi from future attacks by the Church.
