Vlad was her grandfather who betrayed his homeland. She was ordered to take up a secret mission to Erebonia, an imperialistic country of the south. She teams up with Martin S. Robinson, Iseria Frost, and Talion Drake.

The first episode opens with the backstory where a young girl is enthusiastically running towards her grandfather in a field. She is the lead character of the series, Lavian Winslet. But in the next scene, she is shown as a grown-up woman, and her memories lasted while the field was on fire. Lavian’s nature is quiet and reserved, which remained constant throughout the episode.
The first episode is just an intro to the background of the anime series forward. Lavian is shown as a courageous and skilled, but reckless girl. She is with two faceless people who is skilled too but didn’t get the best treatment. Rogan enters the episode whose personality is dictatorial. He seems to start a battle with the Erebonian Empire and Lavian will join it. She is the granddaughter of a hero so Rogan is planning to use her as a martyr.
