Muv Luv Alternative Season 2 Episode 12 is out. The genre of this series is action, drama, and science fiction. With Professor Yuuko’s technology and Kasumi Yashiro’s psychic powers, Takeru travels back to the world he originally came from. Takeru decides to take the help of Yuuko in his world to complete the Alternative IV project- The last hope of humanity against the species called BETA. BETA had invaded Earth. Takeru and other cadets graduated from Yokohama Pilot Training Academy.
During the test, Takeru lost his dear friend and was traumatized to see that. Takeru lost his will to fight and went back to the other world. But he eventually experienced the same situation there too. To protect his dear ones, Takeru must overcome this trauma.

Susano-O was surrounded by BETA and Valkyrie’s escape routes were cut off. Isumi decided to lure all the BETA on the island towards her by reactivating the Susano-O. Her plan was of self-destruction to wipe the BETA out. Kashiwagi, while buying the time for Isumi died. At that time, Isumi reactivated the Susano-O and started the self-destruction sequence. When BETA sensed the reactivation of Susano-O, they left an opening for the evacuation of Valkyries.
A private communication line was opened by Yuuko to Isumi. She was informed that her sister survived the battle and showed her gratitude for everything she did so far. Isumi continued her mission and ordered Takeru to keep an eye on Valkyries. She thinks him of as a human savior. Lastly, she gave the command to Hayase and bids farewell to Valkyries. As planned, Susano-O blasts and destroys the whole island. Isumi died.
Muv Luv Alternative Season 2 Episode 12 Plot
Sadogashima is destroyed and the after result was that the BETA hive was destroyed. Due to Tsunami, much of the coast of Japan was destroyed. There were no civilian casualties. IJA had to move their defense lines back farther than expected. Isumi’s sisters were told about her death. It was covered up as a training accident due to the existence of Valkyries being a secret. A National Mourning Day was declared. Valkyries’ command was taken up by Hayase. They reported their next target which was Hive 20 in Korea. The Valkyries mourned the death of Isumi and Kashiwagi.
Next, Takeru met Sumika. He was afraid that he leaves her for Meiya, but he assures her that he only loves her. Yuuko remembered that during the mission, Sumika’s ODL level dropped because of her jealousy. She revealed to Sumika that she accessed the BETA Hive network and now the comprehensive maps were available of all BETA hives on the Earth, which could be useful in the future. She also asks him not to blame himself for the death of Isumi. She tried to convince him by saying it was all her faith. Takeru even got a compliment for stabilizing Sumika’s personality in just a few days.
Meiya, Kei, Sakaki, Mikoto, and Miki moved the memorial of Marimo to the cherry blossom tree so that she can rest next to Isumi. They completed the rituals. Takeru, Sumika, and Kasumi visited the cherry blossom tree, where he tried to find a solution to save the world and be with Sumika.
