In the fourth installment of Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Suletta Mercury’s everyday activities as a student at the Asticassia School of Technology are highlighted. After the crazy events that have occurred since her first day of school, she finally has the chance to live the life of a typical student.
Suletta must pass a test as a member of the Piloting Department in which she must travel across a field of landmines. Unfortunately, Suletta fails the exam outright since she lacks a committed operator and mechanic. She is permitted to take the make-up exam, though, if she can put together a team to help her.
Suletta searches frantically for someone who will assist her. However, no pupils want to assist her now that she defeated Guel Jeturk, the son of a powerful figure in the Beneritt Group. Thankfully, Miorine enters and informs Suletta that she will serve as her mechanic and operator. Sadly, some classmates played a practical joke on Suletta, causing her cockpit to go dark during the test. She was depressed and angry, but Miorine urged her to be calm and go forward. Suletta decides to persevere and retake the test.

Over the last several episodes of Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, numerous incredible mobile suit combat has been featured, with episode 3’s being the finest one yet. It made it very evident what the mobile suits, in particular Gundam Aerial, can do and how fierce combat in this series looked.
The major narrative appears to focus more on the main character’s daily life, as was noted in the review for the previous episode. This takes the Gundam franchise in a completely different route from other big series, the majority of which are renowned for their dense political intrigue and exciting armed battles. Will the series eventually swerve into the normal route that has made it so famous and adored by the audience, or will this fifth episode continue the present trend of being a slice-of-life school drama?
