Hyouken No Majutsushi Ga Sekai Wo Suberu Season 2 Plot

Everybody seems to know who the Iceblade Magician is- the most powerful soldier, who led the country to victory three years ago, and one of the seven strongest sorcerers alive. However, what one does not know is his real name- Ray White. After surviving a bloody war for what seemed like to go on for eternity, Ray gets admitted to the famous Arnold Academy, an Academy attended by elite sorcerers from around the world.

Ray is now ready to experience a normal life— the luxury of which he never got to experience. He keeps his identity as the Iceblade Magician a secret, and with the identity, he keeps the haunting scars of the past hidden with it. However, enrollment in the academy does not give him the instant ‘normalcy’ that he craved for. Instead, he is immediately met with hostility from some of the students who came from nobility, since in the eyes of others, he is the first ‘ordinary’ student admitted there.

Despite receiving the scornful looks of others, Ray successfully befriended some of them. This included the prideful yet kind Amelia Rose, the muscle brained Evy Armstrong, and the shy and bookish Elisa. However, a conspiracy lurks behind the closed doors of the academy walls, and Ray is given the task of hunting down a spy whose motives remain unclear. And now, he and his friends are about to become entangled in multiple schemes. Ray now must do everything that it takes to protect his loved ones, even if it means revisiting his past.

The story revolves around a young man named Ray White, who enters the Arnold Academy of Sorcery and receives the hostility of other noble students since Ray was an ordinary student without the powers of a sorcerer. However, what one does one does not know is Ray’s true identity- the powerful Iceblade Sorcerer. Ray has flashbacks of a terrible bloody war. Soon Ray learns about the Seven Grand Sorcerers, four remain completely anonymous. One is the Academy principal Abbie Garnet, one is famous researcher Carol Caroline, and the last, the Iceblade Sorcerer, vanished after ending the Far East War.

Ray makes friends with Amelia Rose, Elisa, Rebecca, Evi Armstrong and others. Looking forward to enjoying his youthful life, Ray joins the Environmental Research Club. The muscle-bound fitness enthusiasts who seek dangerous environments to train in, reveal Ray has a Gold-class hunter license. Meanwhile, A concealed spy enchants the monster, making it stronger than before. Even though it was strong, Ray defeats the monster, impressing everyone except other noble students including Albert, who grows even angrier.

Ray later reveals that the true strength of the Ice Blade Sorcerer actually lies in Anti-Material magic that can transform any magic power into another. Later on in the show, Amelia wins the match and reunites with Ray. Soon news arrives that Rebecca has unexpectedly become engaged.
