The Light Novel took up the gold award at the 2019 Dengeki Novel Prize. The light novel Heat The Pig Liver will be adapted into an anime on December 11, 2021, as a result of its success. In 2021, Dengeki Bunko released a teaser clip teasing the voice actors. It has been revealed that the anime’s principal voice actors would be Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Tomori Kusunoki.
