Yen Press is also licensing the light novel series and Masaki Kawakami’s manga adaptation. According to Yen Press, the anime is about experienced explorer Nick, whose life is falling apart. Despite his efforts in his adventuring party, he is booted out by the leader.
His girlfriend also dumps him, and his teammates suspect him of embezzlement. Nick, tired and upset, goes out hunting for a drink when he meets a few kindred souls in a similar circumstance. These adventurers get together to preserve their dreary planet. It will be fascinating to see how this anime transfers to the big screen!

The official anime website began publishing character introduction videos. Nick, the main character, was introduced on Tuesday. A character poster was also made available. Nick was depicted in the image as obsessed with Agate. Yusuke Kobayashi will play the role. “Glorious World,” Toki’s opening theme tune, is also performed. Meanwhile, Mao Abe will sing “Never Fear,” the concluding theme tune.
Frontier Works is the original anime creator. Itsuki Imazaki will direct the anime and write the screenplay. Hiroo Nagao is the character designer and the principal animation director. The soundtrack will be composed by Ryo Takahashi. So yes, just a few members of the cast have been disclosed.
Aside from Yusuke Kobayashi, who plays Nick, Sayumi Watanabe plays Tiana. Sayaki Kikuchi will take on the role of Curran. Shunichi Toki and Mikako Komatsu star as Zem and Kizuna, respectively. Kaori Ishihara will additionally play Agate.

In Japan, the series will premiere on the Tokyo MX Channel at 11 p.m. The film will be released on January 10, 2023. In Japan, the anime will be available one week earlier on the Abema service than on other platforms. However, no announcements for overseas streaming providers have yet been made.
